Presentation Outline
In this webinar, we will provide a comprehensive review of Viking’s line of fire suppression foam equipment and system technology; including low and high expansion foam systems, NFPA standards applicable for foam suppression systems. New technology for protection of heliports, high expansion foam generators for UFC and NFPA 409 applications and new estimating tool to help calculate the number of generators and amount of foam concentrate. We’ll discuss recent approvals of discharge devices from FM for Viking ARK Synthetic Fluorine Free Foam.

Doug has been in the fire industry 32 years and is currently the Viking Corporation’s Business Development Manager for Special Hazards for the Western US. Doug has been with Viking for 2 years and the parent Company, Minimax, for 10 years. Doug has years of experience in estimating, design, installation, testing & service of fire alarm and special hazard suppression systems.
Doug graduated from CSU Sacramento with a BS in Business Administration, is active with NICET and holds a Fire Protection Engineering Technology certifications in Fire Alarm Systems and Special Hazard Suppression Systems. Currently, Doug is on the Fire Suppression System Association (FSSA) Technical Committee and involved in a variety of the FSSA’s special task groups.
