Presentation Outline

The discussion will address the concerns with wet sprinkler/pre-action systems, clean agent suppression systems, and detection technologies, such as Aspirating Smoke Detection ASD (early warning air sampling detection) with the changing cooling requirements in IT Server Room applications.

Chris R. Reimer, BDM for Intelli-tech

Chris R. Reimer is Business Development Manager for Intelli-tech located in Pleasanton, CA and has been with Intelli-tech for over 20 years.  Previously, he was a Design/Applications Sales Engineer for their special hazards fire protection systems along with fire alarm systems.   Prior to that Chris was the Western Regional Manager for Fire Protection Systems and Chemetron Systems.  Chris is an Alumni of University of Wisconsin with a BA degree and has over forty years of experience in special hazards fire protection in both the manufacturing and distributor/contractor areas.  He holds a NICET Level IV S.E.T. for Special Hazards Fire Protection and certified for Fire Alarm Systems.  He is a past President of the Wisconsin Association Fire Equipment Dealers, the Wisconsin Area Safety Council, and the Los Angeles Fire Protection Forum.  He is also a past Instructor at Madison Area Technical College for Fire Investigation & Arson and Chemistry of Fire.  He has served on the Board of Directors for both the SFPE Southern CA and NCN-SFPE Northern CA chapters where he served as Past President to the So CA Chapter and past Secretary to the NCN Chapter.
