New FM Global Installation Guidelines for Automatic Sprinklers

Come learn about significant changes in FM Global's installation guidelines.  Mr. Mannex will provide an overview of FM Global's new and improved Data Sheets related to fire sprinkler systems.  Data Sheet 2-0 "Installation Guidelines for Automatic Sprinklers", is a new standard, which replaces several Data Sheets, including Data Sheet 2-8N, which was largely based on NFPA 13.  The new Data Sheet 2-0 is a global standard and will introduce new terminology and guidelines.  In addition, Mr. Mannex will discuss FM Global's new version of Data Sheet 8-9 "Storage of Class 1, 2, 3, 4 and Plastic Commodities.

Mr. Mannex, P.E. is the Chief Engineering Technical Specialist of FM Global's San Francisco Operations.  With over 30 years of experience in fire protection, he acts as the technical consultant to approximately 70 FM Global engineers throughout the Northwest US and as the main liaison between field operations and FM Global Research.

The Northern California-Nevada Chapter of SFPE
