Mike Wheeler will provide an overview of vertical smoke migration in multi-story buildings, hoistway doors, stack effect and how these issues are addressed in the 2007 California Building Code.  Mr. Wheeler will also discuss elevator shaft pressurization and present the findings of a Clemson University Study on elevator shaft pressurization.

Mr. Wheeler is the Western Region Sales Manager for Smoke Guard, Inc.

The Northern California-Nevada Chapter of SFPE
